Below you will find a selection of my favorite photographs taken over the years. For the most part they capture scenes I was privileged to witness amongst locations throughout San Diego County. The broader beauty of California is represented as well, along with a handful of other states I've had the opportunity to visit. For convenience they are organized into collections based primarily on landscapes and seascapes.
I have also balanced my use of color and black and white given the unique qualities each lends to an image. Color is wonderful for the awe it inspires on its own -- it is the highlight as one is stopped breathless at the sight of vibrant, warm hues radiating from clouds at sunset. On the other hand, black and white encourages photographers to focus on composition and tone while exaggerated shifts in contrast create remarkably dramatic moods. I hope to have done both mediums justice.
